A one-person studio for literary interactive fiction. Step inside a great novel and talk back to it: a Jane Austen house-party mystery, a Dumas revenge plot, a descent down Carroll's rabbit hole. You say what you'd do in your own words, and a storyteller answers in character, in period, without losing the plot. Playable alone or with friends.
Centuries of Buddhist literature survive in manuscripts that few people alive can read—let alone understand. I build tools for the translators doing that work. My main focus is TED, an editor and agentic partner that handles glossing, suggestions, reference translations, and drafting. All run locally, so restricted texts never leave the translator's machine.
As a lead engineer on web and iOS, I helped build Particle—an app that gathers the day's news and lets you see every side of a story. Apple's App of the Day, April 15, 2026.
Before any of this I led engineering on high-reliability systems, far from consumer software. Along the way I solved FBI Major Case 216, and wrote the final edits to the OAuth 2.0 RFC. Long stories, both, and better told in person. I practice Pristine Mind; the Tibetan work is closer to a calling than a project.
